I had no idea who Kyuhyun was until I looked him up, but aside from the specific reference to a performer I was unaware of until just this moment, I pretty much agree with the OP.

Scars on fictional characters: 'Yum.' Scars on real people: 'Yum ... Oh, WTF, self, this is a real person's real trauma, don't go being creepy. But...it is kind of hot. v_v'

(Guess how creepy it is depends on the person, and how they think of the scars, themselves...)
