Considering the involvement of House writers on this show, I'm totally expecting a similarly terrible arc like how House eventually fucked up its portrayal of addiction. You know, where the main character had his heart broken by the love of his life and his addiction was his ~way of coping~. House compounded it spending basically a whole season arguing that the character's pain from a genuine disability was really just psychosomatic and cured by magic vagina sex.
