I guess I'm just worried because so many slash-loving Sherlock fan's reaction was that kneejerk "they made Watson a girl? NOOOOO!" one, and I would hate to have that discussion/argument with anybody in real life. I'm not afraid of our friendship dissolving because of this, that'd be silly, I'm just worried about a potentially annoying argument resulting.

She's not involved with the fandom itself, just fangirls among her own friend circles, but she is super-passionate. /shrug
