Re: Favorite musical soundtracks in movies and TV!

Hi! I did some "research" and I'm pretty sure this is a clip from "The World of Kaoru Wada: The Time of Evocation". Kaoru Wada is the composer of the Inuyasha soundtrack. The orchestra is the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and this performance was recorded live at Suntory Hall, Tokyo, on November 05, 2003. The conductor is Kaoru Wada himself! I mean, I'd be happy too if I were to conduct my own composition in front of a live audience at the nation's capital with a top-grade professional orchestra. :D

This isn't the full performance of "Fantasia Inuyasha" though. This is actually the second half of the fantasia and the orchestra probably did not play the whole thing. You can hear the full fantasia here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPilI8V_w90. This is a recording from "The Echo of Japan - Die Musik von Kaoru Wada" live performace. The orchestra's the Cologne Radio Orchestra and they were conducted by Kaoru Wada. It was recorded on August 28, 2009 at Cologne, Germany.

And lastly, this is a wind orchestra (band) performance of Inuyasha. It's another good rendition! I don't know who played it though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-4H95JhxLU
