Mmmm, you see though, that's what I thought too, until my friend prompted me to join Poly~ You get so damn addicted to it, it's almost a little scary. That place, it eats your soul! I think that as long as your character is at least semi-well known, they should get a good reception there, enough to keep you playing. ^__^

Really, we love everyone who comes to us. There are quite a few non-anime fandoms people play in, as I'm sure you know, and they do well~ I don't see why your character, whoever you might choose to apply [if ever you do], wouldn't be well received either~ ♥ I'd welcome you, at the very least. ♥
