Contrary to what someone said on the last page, there really isn't very much wank among us anymore. For several reasons. MOST of us have either gotten over it long ago or left the fandom OR never needed to get over it because we already knew for a few years now that it wasn't going to be canon. (I'm the latter. I just prefer H/Hr. I never believed it was going to happen really. And I'm not all that hardcore about it. Just casual shipper/fic reader.) I'm in those locked communities that other person mentioned and no one really cares, TBH, how DH ended. There was very little discussion on the book shipping at all. We talked about the plot and horcruxes and deaths, just like everyone else.
But Harmony has gotten entirely too bad of a rap just because a very small percentage of loudmouthed, pre-teen Harmonians made themselves look stupid a couple of years ago. Most of us haven't been thinking it was "going to happen" for years now. We're not as stupid as you make us out to be. Funny thing how I haven't brought up ship preferences once to anyone who doesn't ship the way I do in DH discussions, at yet 2 R/Hr brought it up and were rude to me for no reason about it. News flash genius: Saying "NA NA NA NA NAAA NA I told you so" puts you on the same level as any of the worst teenybopper Harmonian shippers. You're kidding yourself if you think that isn't so. You just end up making your whole ship look bad, not triumphant. And not many of us really care. Why don't you try being a good winner. You sound like a pretty intelligent person, other than the "I told you so" comment.
And I'm interested in your fanfic. Sounds like some good stuff. Good for you. I say, write/read what you like. And don't let anyone tell you different.
