I sorta talked about this the other day, and I realize that I might have alarmed a few people, especially since I didn't answer back to the comments I got. I'm sorry about that, and I'll try to clear it up.
My doc was nearly 100% sure it wasn't an epileptic seizure, since I don't have a history of them, and the onset was typical of fainting.
The seizure triggered by the faint was from lack of oxygen to my brain, and my heart/breathing stopping. No permanent damage came from either of those. Severe vaso-vagal faints often have this effect, which is alarming, but harmless.
So there we go! That's also a little info for anybody prone to vaso-vagal faints, as well as some info for anyone who might witness one. God knows I scared myself and my mass media class, who had no idea wtf was going on.
