I think it depends on how desperately you need/want this job.

For me, I don't want to by tied to anyone I don't like or hate out right. That might be the less reasonable approach to take, but if I really can't stand that person I know I'll be miserable.

I don't want to tell you NOT to take the job, because this might be an excellent opportunity for you regardless. So I would look at the job itself, the kind of people you will be working with, and if it fits well with you and your lifestyle.
