yeah but she only knew it was him after he handed her the water, it wasn't like she was going to shoot him mid-interview, and she gave him what he wanted to hear, why she abandoned him. his was premeditated because he came into her house with the intention of killing her, her's was more like self defense of opportunity.

tbh, i don't really have an opinion of her killing her own son because her character became very unlikable after she got famous and i wanted to see more of her son's development as a character
