lol, no. OP didn't explicitly spoil and OP said, "This was from a different book" and from that point it would have been completely ok because nobody had any idea what happened to Egwene in the last book...and then something_greater came and told everybody.
Seeing something ambiguous and making an assumption =/= being spoiled. Being told explicitly what happens = being spoiled.
