Yes yes yes. I don't have any disrespect for people who enjoy the compilation, but it will all always feel like OOC fanfiction to me. I can't help it. People tell me to just take it as the fanservice it was meant to be, but if I can't enjoy it (and I have really given it all a good try) I'd rather just go back to the original source.

Unfortunately true on the second part. It's made me kind of drift away from playing FF7 characters. I also can't really find a place in the fandom anymore, since there's now an influx of people because of the new canon and it's kind of awkward for people who don't accept or would rather ignore the new canon.

Eureka and Renton from Eureka seveN... Cutest. Pairing. Ever. If you like sweet couples, they're the epitome (though they have plenty of angst, they manage to be A-DOR-A-BLE even throughout *_*). Sorry, yeah... That's my OTP. ^^;

And to the secret-poster... OMG, if you find it, I want to read it. ;____; An actually-romantic Eureka/Renton doujin would make my LIFE.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I adore all those pairings too~ Even Peony/Dist. (Hell, I even love Dist/Nephry.) XD I think all of the various pairings within that group are completely different in how they'd work and what the interaction would be like, and that's really what makes me ship them every which way. XD

Thanks for the kind words, even if Jade/Nephry isn't your cup of tea. ^^

It's so hot. XD; And really interesting on a whole lot of levels, I think. I see them as very like each other, and so have a sort of...intimate understanding of one another that no one else could really share. *could go on for hours, 'cause she's a loser~*

:o I would love to read that. I've RPed Jade/Nephry before too, but the person I RPed with has pretty much dropped out of the fandom altogether...

They're definitely my favorite characters too. I do like the main cast as well(Anise! ♥), but I find the Keterburg crew just...fascinating. Individually and as a group. I could go on for hours about them. XD;

I'm not a Jim Carrey fan but I LOVE those movies.

Same with Will Ferrell, actually... I think he's 8257032894 times more amazing as a serious actor in Stranger Than Fiction than he is in any of his typical funny stuff.
