The op of this subthread talked about wanting ideas to float around free and disconnected from specific voices, which is at best a nice lie because all ideas have sources and those sources must be thought about.
You said nothing about politeness but I am allowed to point at the largest mostly anonymous community on the internet to contextualize my thought process.
Also I literally make my living telling well meaning undergrads that they aren't thinking as deeply as they think they are and how they are looking at things outside their context, a practice with which I am sure you are quite familiar considering you thought that thing about my pseudonym was a sick burn.
