no problem. yeah I would definitely check out some of the student organizations. if you have a specific interest then there might even be a club for it full of people who are into the same stuff that you are. and plenty of people join clubs to make friends, anyway, so oftentimes they do activities and events just so members can get to know eachother. I joined a lot of weird shit freshman year and this is true for basically any group you could think of. keep looking & I'm sure you'll find some people you like!
