ugghhh thisss! jeans have been a lifelong struggle. forget khakis, blech. basic black pants are horrible.
i've learned- if you find jeans with the right waist to hip ratio, buy like five pairs. they are rare and some brands change their cut year to year.
also, a-line skirts are your friend.
