I love Rumple, but I also fully acknowledge that he's a bad guy and kind of an asshole, and the reason all this bad stuff happened to him is because he made his own terrible decisions. He's on the mend, only because he's found someone who makes him want to change himself (which is the important part, something he didn't have with any other woman), but he still did a lot of bad stuff and he SHOULD feel shitty for it. Like someone else downthread said, actions have consequences: the TV show, and Rumple started it all.
