No, it's because she's made of distilled awesome. She's had an amazing character arc and grown so much, becoming more confident in herself and less afraid without losing that kind, nurturing part of her and she's wonderful.

...Okay, that's the reason I like her. The reason fandom likes her is that she got a bit of a badass-upgrade in season 3, and this fandom only seems to like female characters that know how to kill things real good.
