I think she's had a decent character arc but I don't get the all out love for her at all. I don't think it has to do with her looks so much as fans being desperate to find a female character they like since before our main females were Lori and Andrea and they were all too often subjected to bad writing which made them the annoying ones in the group.

Personally I put more of my hope on Michonne, she didn't talk enough for a lot of the season but the past few episodes there was some growth. And I just find her actress extremely likable, so I'll stan for her.
