5. Agreed! It's overrated and overwrought. I can't stand simpering, weak, sappy, little Jane either. I remember looking very carefully at each word when I had to read that book for school, but I never really read it. And I'm really tired of the Feminist interpretations of it. So, I can be one of those people who thinks it's overrated for you.
