OMG, I loved the gameplay on that game but I HATED the storyline. I thought Marche was a total asshole. I mean, his friends had been sucked into this world where they had everything they ever wanted, especially his little brother, and he wanted to them to all go BACK? He was the only one who had it easy in the real world! Not to mention that the entire game he had absolutely no way of knowing whether Ivalice was real or not, so he wanted to destroy a world that might very well be full of real people...Also, you go into the jagds. NOBODY goes into the jagds, except for bloodthirsty bandits and murderers -- and you. Great.

I felt like I was playing the villain of a normal RPG. Marche was basically an insane Gnostic warlord who was trying to break the universe and turn it back into a world of suffering. I've played a lot of RPGs where I hated the main character, but this was definitely the worst.

Moogles are cute though.
