The Latin name of the Wyoming Toad is Bufo baxteri or Anaxyrus baxteri
It hit a sharp crash in the 1970's, before that it was considered 'common'
It currently only exists in the wild in one particular wildlife refuge, however programs are in place in places like zoos and such to prevent it from going extinct, and to try and reintroduce it at a later date.
