I hate when this happens, but you are doing it right. sometimes you gotta let them go and hope they start responding again. Maybe they hate you, maybe something happened, maybe you got too close and that cared them, or maybe they are having a bad week and will get back to you soon.

You might never know. It's their story. You gotta keep writing yours.
