I could have dealt with her being more out spoken, even if the shift felt too blunt, but what bothered me the most was the way she started to treat people. She treated Ron and Hermione so badly, and she seemed to rejoice in being cruel to people in general. I know people bitched about the perfect Ginny from HBP, but you know what?, to me she was perfect as she was before. Maybe I'd put her on a pedestal and it was my mistake, and that was why it felt so personal when she seemed to do a 180º.
I always trusted J.K to be able to make it work between the shy Ginny and Harry, to me that was the draw to that couple, if Ginny needed to come out of her cocoon I accept that, but she turned out quite mean on HBP. And I felt the Ginny from before wouldn't have treated people like that. I took it too hard, I even cried because I felt like J.K had simply killed her and she was my favorite character.
