9. I had a friend like that. She wrote purple prose that was nearly ultraviolet and her Mary Sues managed to get every single cliche into one fic, but I just tried to steer her past it without actually criticizing it. If I had actually said anything negative, she would have probably never written again, and now she's an incredible writer.

22. I know, I seriously loved it. When I can find a cheap box set, I'm buying it. It had some surprisingly gritty and ridiculously dark moments and its villains were fun and not so over-the-top that they just made you roll your eyes. There were kickass girls that managed to be strong AND be involved with their men (RIZA HAWKEYE, PEOPLE). It was one of my favorites that actually aired over here. The movie was really a let-down, though. Pretty, but kind of lame towards the end.

35. OH. MY. GOD. Someone has read this besides me. I've had that book since I was very young, and few things have ever made me cry so hard. And I'm exactly the same way. If something involves a cat (or even any other animal) getting hurt or killed, I cannot watch it. Period.

35) Never read that book and I don't think I even could if something happens to a cat in it. I can't stand it when bad things happen to animals, especially cats. Stuff like that makes me cry so much that it's not even funny.

2. A-FREAKING-MEN, yo.

The Jrock fandom used to be cool about... five or six years ago. Before it became all wangst and crazy shennanigans and mpreg (*shudder* ugh, manpreg.) Though there are still some sane people out there, though it seems the majority of them have moved away from fic writing in favor of RP. But I feel you, I really do. Especially since I'm only in my mid twenties and I feel like an old woman compared to most of the more vocal people in the fandom.

Don't lose hope!
