Same here, honestly. I have a huge fondness for the outer senshi and am kinda 'meh' with the others. It's probably why I'm not flipping out over the 2013 reboot, because there's no guarantee that the outer senshi will be in it at all, as far as I've heard.
I guess it's the fact that they were more mature and more cynical that I liked them so much. I never really related to the inner senshi because they could be very typical teenage girls and I was never a typical teenage girl. I think I also tend to like characters that are a bit darker. Also, while I'm a fan of love defeating evil and the power of friendship, I always felt like it was just too over the top with Usagi at times. Like, they just punched you in the face with that moral too hard and too often and it was always her love that saved the day.
