Oh thank god I'm not the only one who feels this way. I've seen bits and pieces of Elementary and to me, Lucy Liu didn't sound at all like my reading of Watson. And by the time I heard what they did to wrap up the Moriarty and Irene Adler issues (BOTH of whom I wish people would let go of, they didn't have a big role in the original stories, LET. IT. GO.) I couldn't help but wonder why they didn't just write a new damned detective story and leave in the homages to Holmes rather than put Holmes' name on it.
