Personally, I don't mind if one character is like that, I'm cool, but when it gets to the point every character has the same facial expressions, even if it's different hair and body, it's just only one face you're doing all the time. [Usually the bodies aren't too different either from my knowledge.]
Nothing against anyone who likes the style, even if the coloring is extremely well done from my perspective, it just doesn't change the fact that when it's drawn the people have the same facial structure.
There might be a few exceptions to the rule, but I just haven't found any as of yet.
