M-maybe. But this is a new and exciting revelation. I don't know if I can control it.

2. ...i...wow. im intrigued by the concept of making elements into characters! back in science classes i used to always kinda make up silly stories in my head when inatimate particles or brainless cells did cute things!

15. OH MAN I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. I don't get it that bad, but I HATE HATE that kind of plot point. Missunderstandings are ok for HUMOR but THAT'S IT. That's why I could tolerate say... Three's Company. It was for humor! (lol what kind of example is that?)

Anime aaalways does this too much DX OH HEY I DIDNT HEAR ALL OF WHAT YOU SAID SO NOW YOUR LIFE IS RUIIINED.

WHATS WORSE IS WHEN IT'S NEVER TRUELY RESOLVED. EVERYONE EITHER FORGETS OR "FORGIVES" PEOPLE FOR MISTAKES THEY DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Can't they just be like "HEY, YOU MISSHEARD ME. EFF OFF."

*rant rant*

Not!Fandom #2: I hope you wash them when you're done. Don't want to be responsible for any weird diseases either of you catch...

16. IT IS POSSIBLE TO SHIP BOTH, BELIEVE ME, I DO >_>

[identity profile] xfkirsten.livejournal.com 2007-10-05 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
17. WORD. Thank you! Personally, Megan Hilty and Kendra Kassebaum are vying for position as my favorite G(a)linda. We need a sparkle-off or something like that. XD

Word to #16. Hardcore word.

[identity profile] sarajayechan.livejournal.com 2007-10-05 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
15. Actually, sometimes I feel the same, though not quite to that extent. I twitch SO hard when a series relies on high school cliches (bullying, gossip, locker-shoving, sabatoging school election campaigns, hazing, popular kids getting off scot-free because their mommies are on the PTA and their daddies are world-famous dildo salesmen)...mostly because I had to put up with half that shit in MIDDLE SCHOOL and it's like the media is glamorizing the idea of teenagers acting like five year olds in a sandbox. It's LAME.

[identity profile] crackjaw.livejournal.com 2007-10-05 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Also, 18:

It was good that he died, that is the sad truth of it. If he hadn't died nothing would have turned out the way it did. I honestly think that Kamina, fucking awesome though he is, couldn't have accomplished everything that Simon did. Kamina's death was a catalyst for some very, very vital character development, for ALL the characters.

2. I hated chemistry but this secret wins the entire Internet plus a Dalek. That's the best thing I've ever heard.

4. Does that say "zombie" in the background? :D

26. I uh. I sometimes like to do that so I know what language it is? Like I have the J-pop and then the K-pop and the Chinese pop because when they're singing it's sometimes difficult to tell. And I like to know.

Anyway, it does tend to sound kind of different, I think the different cultural background gives it a different kind of sound a lot of the time, just like anime is about a lot of stuff Western shows don't really mention. So I think it's fair to call it a separate genre.

[identity profile] ovendoor.livejournal.com 2007-10-05 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
41. Have you finished the series yet? Or gone past the rossiu PMS part?

[identity profile] dots.livejournal.com 2007-10-05 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Also, 15, that's why I can't stand the "Meet the Parents" movies :[
fishie: (tenipuri; sanada; make my day)

35. Wait, when did we start splitting off into fandoms for separate teams? W-where the fuck was I?

Admittedly, if I had to commit, I'd be in Rikkai fandom. (SURPRISE!) But seriously, if you think Rikkai fandom is all wank and fanbrats, how do you feel about Hyoutei and Seigaku?

And I know I can't be the only one to see it — these team-fandoms get more elitist/less fanbratty as the series progresses: obviously, Seigaku fans are all twelve years old and use fangirl Japanese, while Shitenhouji and Higa fans are superior, mature people with enlightened views on life and fandom, amirite?

39. WORD. ♡ What's with all the Giles secrets lately?

[identity profile] runcible.livejournal.com 2007-10-05 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
1. DO NOT FEEL BAD AT ALL? At least you give them gifts. I am an artist and one year I tried to draw for every one of my fandom friends for their birthdays. This was two years ago. It didn't work out.

34. Hell yes

If there's something wrong with you then there's something wrong with me. I wouldn't say I get panic attacks, but I can't stand that humor.

10, 18, 41

[identity profile] cftf.livejournal.com 2007-10-05 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
10 - I didn't get into the series until it was over, and then watched it in the span of about three or four days. It really is made of win.

18 - I'm right there with you. I LIKED Kamina, but I didn't find him as much of "oh my god win" as everyone else seemed to. (And, uh... I honestly liked Kittan better than him, especially by the end.)

(And Yoko/Kittan > Yoko/Kamina! >_>)

41 - I was so tempted to make a Fei Fong Wong joke here.

Because they both have (almost) the same hair color and therefore would look good together.

That, or it has something to do with hate sex.

3. SOLUTION: Change your LJ name AND change your FF.Net name. Okay, not, but if y'really want the name for your journal AND don't want them to know about your fiiictionn..
5. Picture looks oddly familiar. *stares at blurr*
15. I get anxious sometimes with silly plots. o_o; I just want them to be over, so I start squirming and am all "D: God" for some reason.
16. Why is it that I went "... would her metal-cladden lap really be comfortable?" when I saw that. (mgkndfd but yes ilthatpairing.)

10. AMEN BROTHA/SISTAH ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWAA.

18. Ahahaha while I do think he's the awesomest big brother character in anything ever and will be megas pissed if he doesn't at least get to the saigar finals, I'll admit Rossiu was KIND OF right that him dying was probaly "good" for Simon's evolution. Still, ;A; whyyyyyy etc.

23. ;A; Charlie.

41. ... I lol'd. But I do admit I hated him all while that arc was airing and now he's cool beans again. XDD;

[identity profile] antler-action.livejournal.com 2007-10-05 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
15. If there's something wrong with you, there's something wrong with me, too. When I was little, Winnie-the-Pooh was pretty much the only one who could use misunderstanding things as a plot point without making me cringe. It still makes me really uncomfortable when someone is like "Oh, he meant this!" and I'm sitting there going "NO THAT'S NOT IT YOU'RE GOING TO MESS EVERYTHING UP!"
28. ...Is that a bee with an eyepatch? And a mohawk?
