  • These snakes are primarily found in the US, east of the Rocky Mountains, but they can range north into Canada, and South into Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize.
  • These snakes are diurnal and highly active.
  • Like all snakes, they are carnivores, subsisting on a diet of mostly rodents, frogs, toads and other snakes.
  • They are not actually constrictors.
  • These snakes are highly curious.
