Exactly. Frankly, bitches works on both the level that they're using it empoweringly by identifying as a larger group, and also in the sense that it's all a bit silly and they're worshipping the sexiness of this guy, and would be happy to call themselves his 'bitch' in that sense.
I think bitch, when used purely as an insult, is a very nasty sexist term. But it is also used in a lot of other contexts and I think it has been reclaimed in a lot of ways - for instance, I would be happy to call myself a 'bitch' to mean that I was a strong woman who doesn't take shit. And my choice to call myself that in a positive sense partially negates anyone who calls be a 'bitch' in a negative sense for those same reasons.
Also, Cumberbuddies sounds like a term a paedophile would call a group of his victims. No one should call themselves a Cumberbody. Ever.
