I don't get why people always associate Sandman with goths. ._. Is it because of the fandom? Death's choice of clothing?
I've read the entire series, and the only thing gothic I found in it was, really, Death and Dream on a minor scale.

\o I advise you give it a whirl if you'd like! I love different RPs, and often play in different RPs at the same time because you get such a GREAT perspective and tone difference! I love playing with the same characters in different situations too. damned is a great game with tons of awesome players too.

And you know? They should understand, your RP friends. Since RP is... well, for fun, right? I dunno if I have a ton of room to talk, since I RP horribly embarrassing things over AIM so what is remaining of my sanity doesn't come into question.

'Sides, we all love a good horror mindfuck, amirite~? ♥

I hope you find something that stimulates you and you have a lot of fun doing it! As someone in both games and has been in both in the past \o never be afraid of just trying it. 'Sides you can always say "I tried it, I like it better" or "I tried it, and I don't like it better" but if you never tried it there's no comparison. And RP, like fandom and ships, is particular and personal. If it were all the same we wouldn't have such a variety of RPs and players.

4. Oh man, don't be ashamed to be a fan of kids books, some of the best artists in world illustrate childrens books! I'm almost 20 and I spent an hour sitting in the childrens' book section of Borders each week this summer XD.
