Was the Stargate SG-1 finale the one where they spent 60 years or something trapped on a space ship and then Teal'C stayed old while time was reversed to make sure that didn't happen and then they needed a movie to tell us how the main arc got resolved? Yeah, that.

Yep, though granted they got told the show was getting cancelled near the end/after production (I think it was on the day they aired their "yay 200th episode!"), so I don't fully blame them.
