Wow. I was just planning on making a secret more or less on the same lines as this last night. And I'm glad I didn't, because you put it into better words than I could have.

Really, prior to playing Phoenix Wright, there wasn't a character that inspired me in any way. All my favorites were either badass or clever since birth and socially secure, while the characters I identified with were either emotional trainwrecks or secondary characters that didn't develop at all. Edgeworth's character made me feel so much better about myself and my insecurities. Just knowing that yes it is possible to be an admirable, cool person and still feel awkward and horrible with words, and yes it is possible to change, even in your adult years, and yes it is possible to be happy and maintain friendships, even while that introverted fraction of your personality of you is there to stay. No one is perfect, and imperfection won't hinder your growth as a person.

Hell, it's a lesson in life of the Phoenix Wright series as a whole.
