19. I think this might be a slowly new (in the last five years) trend growing. When I was first into anime (like 90 or 91) I remember everyone I talked to, even girls, were into shounen/shoujo etc. I love shounen and some shoujo but yes, my favorites are dark anime and sci-fi.
31. I agree. It's why I can't really get into the fandoms I want to get into. I like my characters but I don't care bout their sexual lives. I find them much more interesting when it's not focused on sex.
