Day 2 of our creature-feature special! Yesterday we had pitbulls, today we have... mini-cthulhus cuttlefish and squid. Highly intelligent, colourful and also very interesting, they are sadly more often than not regarded as mostly good for calamari rings. As with everything, there's a relevant xkcd for them.

They're very squiddy. Also, spider warning.

Meet the Eresus spider genus! They're from the family of velvet spiders and more commonly known as Ladybird spiders. I think it should be pretty obvious why.

OMG SQUID AND CUTTLEFISH! As a cephalopod enthusiast, I cannot even begin to express how happy it makes me to see these noble and intelligent creatures recognized for their adorableness.

Also, those spiders! Especially the last one! I want to take it home and call it George!

I think my teeth are rotting from the overwhelming cuteness of those squid. The spiders are super cute too! Really love the pattern on their backs.

Mini-cthulhus and xkcd, gorgeous post today! Had a bad day today so this was a really nice pick-me-up, thank you. The spiders look really luxurious, I want to finger-pet them.

The spider is so adorable <3 It reminds me of a ladybird. I used to love playing with ladybirds as a kid.

It would be more helpful to put the subject in the first post of the tier where it gets seen. Any subjects in the other tiers aren't visible. Sorry, but I don't find cuttlefish or squid cute.
