I'd like to see Fitz and Jon Snow be angsty, angsty bastards with wolves at each other.

Anyway, I'd not made the connection that way, but with some theories regarding the near post-ADWD future of Jon Snow, it's hard not to think of Fitz.

I gotta say, Fitz would fit right in there. His various life stages would fit right in with so many different GoT characters. Tween trainee assassin, teen angsty berserker warrior, young adult freedom fighter, older woodsman and scholar...

Those books couldn't be adequately translated to screen. They do too well with the feeling of time passing.
