And why?

I really like movies because of how they're usually self-contained and you can watch them in the background.

I like gaming because of the replay ability and being an active influence on what happens.

I generally prefer passive stories. I get too stressed about doing it right when I have to move the story forward and it ruins the effect that the game is trying to create. Books and movies are my favorite.

All of them?

Books because I can take them anywhere and really get into the story.

TV because it is something I can look forward to.

Movies because they are a story told in ~2 hours and great to watch with friends/family.

Video Games because I get to control the story (and beat other people).

Movies are my #1 media priority. Sure I have to wait four years between installments for animated ones (Kung Fu Panda, HTTYD), but they have an epic, grand scale.

I just love the feel and atmosphere around movies, and too a much lesser extent, books, than games, music, or television. I have more patience to wait for a four - year movie than to keep up weekly with a tv show.

I'm pretty much the same - it's easier for me to watch a movie and then engage in fandom, and wait a few years for the next movie. I am watching like three shows, except one is over and the other one has been over for years, and the only currently running one is a spin-off from a movie franchise that is my primary fandom.

Televison is my favorite because I love the opportunity to watch characters and plots grow and change over a long period of time. I also like books because I'm so in love with the written word, but it's more limited by the whole "But it has to be good" thing. I can forgive clunky writing in a medium where there's other stuff going on, but books get held to a higher standard because the writing is the only thing there.

An engaging enough story can engross me to the point where I don't notice it's there (Hunger Games), but mostly IA

Books because I can bring them anywhere and just read them over and over again without having to worry about the battery dying out or anything. And I can highlight my favourite parts, fold the corners of the pages down on parts I really like, things like that.

Video games (but only DS games :[) because I can bring them around and playing an active part usually makes me even more immersed in the plot so I get more emotionally ~~traumatised~~ invested.

I don't like movies or TV shows very much, I'm very TV-lazy. Can't be bothered to do it unless literally everybody at college/in my group of friends is talking about it.

tv shows, mainly. a lot of them. i enjoy podcasts and video games too. i also read, but not in a fandom-y way; i mostly read classics and non-fiction.

i can't stand movies. i always get bored halfway through and stop watching. idk why. i only go to the theaters with friends, and i spend more time watching their reactions than watching the movie itself.

Books, because in addition to being portable and super-convenient, you can read them at whatever speed you like. Also, they run on imagination and therefore can do a shitload of things that aren't possible in any other medium. And they feel nice in my hands.

Movies, because they (usually) don't take very long to finish and therefore are useful when I want to be entertained but don't have time for a book.

Radio shows/podcasts, because I can listen to them while I do stuff like gardening or sorting my laundry.

Comic books, because they are books with pictures.

Whatever the fuck Homestuck is, because it's weird and creative and interesting. (Not sure if it can be classified as a webcomic or not?)

Movies and TV shows, mostly. Some web stuff like web shows and fan films. I read a lot, but it's mostly fanfic because I'm a fucking loser.

Books, games. Movies to a lesser degree. Not really keen on TV at all - there's some exceptions of course, but as a whole I don't like TV.

Video games (I can't really go into why, I've been playing games my whole life, it's just who I am) comic books (I enjoy visual mediums and I enjoy reading, and comics help me get my reading in because my regular book reading habits have gone to shit) the occasional movie (I have more fun with those if I'm not the only one watching, even if it's just a stream with chat.)

Not a fan of television. In general I don't like more passive forms of entertainment.

Movies, books, and games. (Youtube vids too, if those count.)

I want to get into some new TV shows, but I just don't have the attention span for them.

This has changed a lot over time. Right now, my preference is games, far and away. I'm not a huge fan of movies compared to other media though of course there are movies I love.

Video games because I've been playing them my whole life and they will continue to be a part of my life.

TV shows because there's some that I like to follow.

Most of them, but games are my favorite because I love being actively involved in the story. (I especially like games where I can influence the outcome of said story.) Even when you can't, there's something special about controlling the character in the given setting... When it works it tends to hit a lot harder than movies or tv do. But...you know, personal preference; I'm just always going to find games magical.

TV and movies are great too and I have a hard time choosing between them, but TV can be so hard to keep up with. I almost prefer movies solely because it is really difficult keeping up with like ten series at a time. (Which is what I'm almost always trying to do.)

Comics are awesome, as are books. There is something to be said about using your imagination and books can be great for that.

Just about anything except video-blogs and podcasts.

I like TV best because I can watch it in chunks. If I only have a small amount of time I can watch an hour.

Movies are awesome too, but I tend to prefer to see them in the theater and then watch tv at home.

Actually, I take it back, books are my favorite. Always and forever.
