AYRT: Snafu is an understatement. I got there (with Dad, because I was fourteen and couldn't get home on my own) at 7:15 PM. Six hours later, at 1:15 AM, we got my badge. CA's lines apparently generally run about half an hour, but I'm sure that'll balloon this year because of people doing what I am and picking up there with the intent of using it only at Fanime.

I'm intending to see how many people I can find who'll be interested in trading Pokemon. I almost have a complete set of starters (missing Froakie) and I have several spare legendaries (two event Celebi/Legendary Beast sets and the Sinnoh/Johto mascots, when I get around to getting them off B2W2); I want some other legendaries, mostly the ones off the Hoenn games, and the last starter. I'm not sure I have that much of a shot at the former, but there has to be someone who'll be willing to trade their Froakie for a Mudkip or something.

I feel you about the anime, too. I used to watch Hetalia, but I don't anymore, and that's about it for my anime exposure lately. It's going to be interesting. And hopefully fun.
