Hi there!

I'm recently created an account here but I've been lurking for a while.
I would love to make some new friends, since tumblr doesn't make it that easy to have decent conversations.

My fandoms are: Hannibal (show + books), Person of Interest, Breaking Bad, Les Miserables, Discworld, Welcome to Nightvale, Jeeves & Wooster, and Sherlock Holmes (ACD). My mother is also massive LOTR nerd, so I'm sort of a Tolkienite-by-proxy.

Despite my friends attempts to convert me, I never really fit in as a comic book nerd or gamer, but there are some things I like. (I also went through an embarrassing "kawaii" phase as a teenager.)
Video games: Bioshock, Fallout 3, KOTOR I & II, The Sims
Comics: Hellblazer, Sandman, Gunnerkrigg Court (webcomic)
Anime & Manga: Hellsing, Death Note, Fruits Basket, Sailor Moon, Chrno Crusade, Claymore, everything Studio Ghibli.

Other things I like: books, travel, art & history, religion & mythology, psychology & sociology (I did my BA in psych), folklore & fairytales, music. Writing is my one true love.

I live in Australia, and I'm currently doing my Masters in Special Education.
