you can follow me on tumblr but I very rarely get on there. I'm raichu100 over there. uh, I think mine got hacked recently and posted a few (like just 2 or 3) inane things that I've had to delete, so if those have shown up, I apologize. and what is your tumblr name?

nope, that's not me and idk who that is.

I think I actually signed up for tumblr before DW, back when it didn't occur to me to even make a handle that wasn't Raichu-something. the only reason I did it here was because it seemed like fun to try a new handle, but I wasn't trying to change my "name" (not my real name obv, but I'm used to being called it online and occasionally irl).

Your name is catchy and clever so I'm not too surprised that someone else thought of it as well.

Trying out a new username can be fun. Or freeing, depending on what you're looking for. Elam is fairly new too, so I get it; sometimes you want to try something different.

Raichu is cute, though!

eheh...well...maybe part of the reason I wanted to pick a different handle here is that people always assume I picked Raichu because it's cute. and that's not at all the reason I picked that name. But I've been using it for a long time and I don't want to change it...it just doesn't really reflect my reasons for choosing it very well.

maybe I wasn't thinking of that when I picked diet_poison (which is a lyric, btw, so I'm not surprised someone else came up with it), but I've been thinking about it a bit lately. I guess kid perspective isn't the same as adult.

Aww, well I didn't assume you picked the name because it's cute, I just find it cute. I don't feel like I've heard it often either, though it might be common, idk. Everyone has their own reasons for picking their handles! (Mine have never been very deep or creative so I think it's nice when people put thought into them.)

No, I imagine it changes like everything else. And I didn't realize diet_poison was a lyric! Gonna Google it.

Look up Barenaked Ladies: Bull in a China Shop.

Mine's not that deep either, the lyric is just because I like it, Raichu is because when I was a kid I thought Lt. Surge's Raichu was the most badass thing ever. (I still kinda think that. Except I am now familiar with lots of other badass things. But I loved that episode and that Pokemon.)

Ooo, I used to like Barenaked Ladies quite a bit, but I don't know this specific song. The lyrics are great; I'm glad you introduced me to it!

I (sadly) don't know much about Pokemon, just that they are adorable and had I decided to give them a try when I was younger, I would probably be as obsessed as everyone else.
