Fuck yes, I'm glad this show is coming back. Why? Because it shows a side of cosplay I don't often see, which is the competitive side.

I agree there were some shitty things about the first season, but so many people fucking whined about how it didn't really 'represent' cosplay. I just think it didn't represent how most people see cosplay to be. But let's be honest, a show just showcasing a bunch of cosplays would be fucking boring as hell, so they have to bring something interesting into it.

I was at one of the cons they filmed at, and the way they treated the cosplayers not involved in the show was so shitty. Not to mention they took people who were not cast members of the show and literally dubbed over things they had said to make them sound like 'bad guys'.

I wouldn't care if it was just a bunch of hired cosplayers people being catty and dramatic to each other (if they want to get paid to look like idiots, go for it), but the minute they bring in the rest of the community, people who just want to enter the cosplay competition and participate and have fun and aren't getting paid for this shit, I'm over it. And that's what they've done, and what they're continuing to do in S2 filming from what I've picked up.
