I think that's part of what I love about Sandman. I mean, I like comics that follow specific characters, but I've got even more of a soft spot for comics that...shoot, I don't even know how to say it, but I guess...that use a really fantastic premises for a "main" character as an excuse to tell stories about all the people in their periphery. Like how I'm not actually a huge Batman fan (I don't dislike him or anything), but I really love reading books set in Gotham about all the characters whose lives are affected by Batman's existence.

I hope you've read The Tailor by Aitor Iñaki Eraña (deviantart.com/art/Batman-The-Tailor-133622928), because it's one of my favourite comics ever and I'm not even a Batman fan!
