I sometimes do, usually themed by songs I feel more or less apply to my current interests. Sometimes the applicability is a bit loose.

Right now my playlists are only band-themed - in other words, my Linkin Park list has multiple LP albums in it, same for my Lady Gaga and Pink lists. Others are simply listed by album.
