I think during the battle in New York in the Avengers you can see him pulling old arrows from dead aliens a few times.

Thanks! I have to admit, so much was going on in that scene, I wasn't fully noticing all the details... sad thing is I've seen it three times, you'd think I'd have noticed that. I was all, "Wait, what? Where?" XD

Smart move, though! Even if I didn't notice it, that's a cool detail.

This is one of the scenes - it's a bit off camera, but he keeps picking up arrows from aliens, bundling them up and taking off (at least it looks like it) the used special points and all.
