Re: GC Friending Thread
Ah the movies definitely aren't as good as the series, but I enjoyed them much more than I thought I would. Lochley got some really funny lines and badass moments in River of Souls, which was great. Plus I can always stand to see more of Ivanova kicking arse. I have the Rangers spin-off and A Call To Arms left to watch and I think that's it. Which would you say is the best one?
Thanks for the advice! I watched B5 right after I watched Star Trek TNG, and struggled to get into it at first because I kept comparing them and seeing similarities. So I think I'm on a long Star Trek hiatus for now.
Ah I'm waiting until college has finished until I get too invested in anything else, as well. Luckily I don't have exams, just displaying my work in an exhibition, and that's in just three weeks' time. (Which is awesome and also a bit scary haha.)
Re: GC Friending Thread
Oh wow, I don't know which one I'd pick as the best. They all had good points, you know? (Though none of them seemed to quite hit their stride, IMO.) I quite liked Crusade, the technomage character was interesting, if a little hokey.
Good luck with the exhibition! What are you studying, if you don't mind me asking?
Re: GC Friending Thread
Not at all, I'm really excited about my work so I love to talk about it! I've been doing a design course with the intent of eventually doing something with interiors. I'm going to be getting my degree in textile design.
I'm really late going to university (most of my peers who I went to high school with will be graduating this year) so it feels great to finally be on my way. You mentioned exams, might I ask what you're studying? :)
