38. Imo, that's part of the fun, and part of the problem. It gives you ideas to work with that you'd never come up with, and that's great. But on the other hand, it can take an awesome character and make them really bad because it's just the worst possible situation.

Oh god loooool. On a tangent, I originally thought "oh cool, the sequels reference those posters from the original, how clever!" And then it's like... shakespearean and epic? I'm so baffled. Why in the world would some sort of actual classy play be popular in Midgar? It makes me sad.

Now I'm thinking that Gackt made the sequel. "Look at me, I've got one wing and everything, aren't I cool?" It makes about as much sense as the secret.

Everyone always makes me justify why I like FFVII. They assume it was my first, or I like BISHIES, or I haven't played any others. I always used to give really long answers about how I love the dingy sci-fi look, or how I really like the magic system.

And you know, that never convinced anyone of anything, so I gave up. Now I just tell people that I really, really like any videogame where Cloud gets hot tub raped by guys with pornstaches (and you know, hell, it's true!). If that doesn't convince them that my love for FFVII is as pure as the fresh snow, then nothing will.
