Where do you get that from? Half of you are just replying with completely stupid things. Like I told someone earlier, its not about the graphics or the translations, its about the game being sloppy and cliche and boring and everyone fapping to it like its some sort of god, and then holding that false belief that it was the perfect game against every other game they ever play.

if you judge every game by the standards that its not perfect, then yeah, theyre going to fail. but ff7 wasn't perfect.

I never believed FFVII was perfect.

Really, my reply ain't about how you feel about the original game (because I completely understand not liking it), it's about how you got it in your head that somehow Compilation is LESS campy and LESS utterly retarded in every way.

Case in point, this nugget of unamusing camp:


Everyone screams in full happy unison, "GOOOOOOOO VINCENT!!" and good golly miss molly, if that is BETTER and LESS CHEESY than shit like the "Let's mosey" sequences in the original game I will eat my car keys.

The original game plenty of dumbass moments, but the style was always gritty, not glossy. Also I don't see any gangrape in hottubs in Compilation, so it automatically fails.
