LOL! Actually, I'm surprised that's not my secret. I stopped reading the series because I knew that would happen. There was a lot of ship war and fights about the couples when it was posted to YD, and yeah, it sucks.

I'm pretty much boycotting everything by that mangaka now because her love triangles piss me off so badly. Since I always cheer for the person who ends up unlove :'( My fault, really. But yeah, I wanted Ao to be happy. And Kou was the only person who could do that.

Have you read the raw chapters? Absolutely heart breaking. :-x Well, somewhat.

It was posted to YD and there was ship wars? And here I was fangirling over this series (love/hate, really. I also wish Ao would get run over by a car or something) alone...

I haven't read much of Mieko Koide's other works. I've certainly stayed away from Junjyou Karen (wasn't that the title?). I've only read Yatteranaze! and... there was that manga with the idols and the fanboy; that. Oh, Half Moon Emotion... I've definitely read that!

The thing is though, I'm not fond of her too much because of the way she writes the stories. It feels too soft sometimes, though it worked for Yatteranaze! because smut wasn't such a big part of it... yeah. I give up on trying to explain! D:

Anyway, eeeh~! ♥ Kindred ;_;! It kind of breaks my heart to see Ao so beaten down... as a character, I find him more tolerable than Kou and Mikuni. It's true that he lied to Kou, and for that he deserves the pain he's suffering now... but at the same time, after reading his thoughts, you can't help but sympathize with him. Even if he is a dolt, with some self-worth issues. (Perhaps, if he had come clean to Kou before Kou slept with Mikuni the second time... )

I feel sorry for him, his fears came true; the guy left him. Arrgh.

...though, are you that far yet? :( Or am I spoiling too much? I CAN PROVIDE THE RAWS IF YOU AREN'T D:!!
