I'm just keep looking at the guys who aren't Miroku and their faces are like triangles that got the tip cut off. I don't get this aesthetic.

And is that lower line on their chin supposed to be the bottom of their lower lips? Because if that's the case, those are some huuuuuge lower lips. Junjou Romantica's art style bugs me a lot.

It actually bothers me more when characters only have one line to show the mouth opening. It makes the face look weirdly like a flat plane. I wish more characters had "defined" mouths.

A lot of anime styles, do that, eh? I'm currently watching Shoujo Cosette and a lot of the characters only have that single mouth line. The only ones who do have the definition of a lower lip are the older characters.

I know it's common, I'm just not crazy about it. Maybe it does look "young" to me, which is kind of a drawback.

Or maybe the lower lines are actually their mouths and they just have really thin moustaches.

I'm not certain but I THINK it's supposed to be a "chin line" though I can only see it as a "lip line," myself.
