I one-upped myself

Last semester, I made enough bad life decisions to force me to write an eight-page paper in one day. This semester, the same thing has happened, but with four more pages. If that wasn't bad enough, the eight-page one is by far the longest paper I've ever written -- it's at least 1.5 times the length of my second-longest, and probably closer to double. And I have chronic fatigue problems that make staying up for more than four hours at a time into a real chore.

Somehow the epic scale of just how intensely I've fucked myself over is sufficient to cheer me up a bit. Like I've achieved some amazing world-shattering feat, even though it benefits absolutely no one.

Twelve pages isn't that long.

Write out an outline using full sentences.
Write the beginning paragraph.
Write the ending, which should the same as the beginning, but with 'in conclusion' and a liberal use of right click 'synonyms'.
Fill in the blanks of the outline. Depending on the class you might be able to bullshit a lot of this.
Tomorrow, proofread and create citations using 'son of citation machine' or another web tool.

Remember, you can highlight the periods at the ends of sentences and make them a larger font size. This is the single most important I learned in college.

Wow, that's a very succinct, well laid out write-a-paper-plan. Almost makes me wish I was still in school.

Wow, never in my life could I think FS would help me academically, but here I am (while I should be doing already LATE work), and you have helped me with a paper I should have done a few days ago but will do tomorrow.

That's not that bad. But it depends on what the paper entails. The research requirements are more of a factor than length, I think. I could type up 20 pages on something I already knew in a few hours easy. Its the researching what I don't know that takes longer.
