Also, opening the shades if someone happens to be in my room. I get that most people like sunlight, so I don't go shutting random curtains and shades. I do not. I am light sensitive, and I prefer my room to be darker. Leave my shades alone. You can handle an hour or two (or whatever) of dimmer light.

Ugh, I hate it when people mess with the living arrangements of the person who has invited them into their home. It's a custom in the village/area I live in to close the blinds/shades when you're at home and it gets dark so nobody can look in. We never do that but there is this one woman who, when invited, always goes around closing the shades in the rooms she's in. It's annoying, especially since the shades on a few windows are broken and are a pain to get open again.
